Surface cleaning method of aluminum alloy die casting

The surface cleaning methods of aluminum alloy die castings are as follows:

1. The method of removing gate and flash:

1) Manual work: Use simple tools such as mallet, file, pliers and other simple tools to knock out excess parts such as the casting system of aluminum alloy die castings. The advantages are convenience, simplicity and speed; Thick parts, complex parts, large castings are not suitable.

2) Mechanical operations: use edge trimmers, punches and dies, band saws and other mechanical equipment. The advantage is that the incision is neat and the cleaning efficiency is high for large and medium-sized castings.

3) Polishing: choose steel grinding wheel, nylon wheel, cloth wheel, flying wing wheel, grinding wheel, etc. for grinding according to the casting requirements.

4) Automation of the cleaning process: Robots are used to clean the castings to complete the work of removing burrs, grinding and trimming. So as to achieve clean and productive.
